Vienna Main Station: 5 Days Until Move In
The last couple of days before our new FIZZies finally arrive at THE FIZZ Vienna Main Station. Are you ready to enter the jungle?
The clock is ticking!
Our very, very soon to be student residence has been a “home” to countless busy workers during the last year (at least by day). Actually, I thought that the buidling has already been crowded but I was wrong. During this last week, before you finally arrive for your move in, even more strong helping hands are occupied with getting everything homey and ready.
Besides that, we have two special guests this week: Monika and Dominik! Our two artist from Die Angewandte who are designing (y)our entrance, the portal to the Urban Jungle. This article will give you a glimpse of what you can expect from your future home very soon.
Welcome to the (Urban) Jungle
This time, I don’t want to save the best for last. I will start with my favorite part right away: our entrance! Monika and Dominik have been painting the walls surrounding the post boxes during the last days while making full use of their body. Some wall parts are not that easy to reach but it’s definitely worth the hassle (or rather the contortion). Until D-day, they will make some more handmade special effects after they finished the painting works. There’s a lot to look forward to!
A house full of possibilities
I already told you in one of the previous articles that the ground and roof floor will be the last one to be finished as we have put our focus on your apartments. Finally, I can show you some pictures of the multifunctional room, the lobby and much more. See for yourself!
Game on!
Living at THE FIZZ, you don’t just rent a student apartment. You get the whole house! That also includes spaces to relax, study, watch movies or play. Yesterday, some of your “toys” arrived.
Play hard, study harder?
As promised, THE FIZZ Vienna Main Station will offer you spaces to study or work. Of course, you can just sit down in the lobby on own of the various chairs you have already seen above. Still, we also have two beautifiul study rooms. One is library-like and perfect for working on your own… in silence. The other one is more of a co-working space where you can bring your mates and work on joint projects.
From multifunctional to relaxing?
In the lower level, there are some more exciting and quite useful rooms. The washing and drying rooms are located there as well as the multifunctional room. It will feature a cozy sofa, several “fatboys”, gym balls and everything you need to have a nice time-out. Talking about time-outs… Your house manager Marcel is already testing the relaxation skills of your fatboys.
