Prague Update: From Showrooms to Photographs
Right before Christmas, we are back with realtime news from THE FIZZ Prague. Are you ready for a first glimpse into our show apartments?
The First Showrooms at THE FIZZ Prague
It’s been quite some time since I posted an update from our newest student residence in Prague. For everyone who missed it: We are building a THE FIZZ with 539 apartments in the “Golden City” and it will open in Autumn 2020!
Be that as it may, I have been in Prague this week and, of course, paid the construction site a visit to take some photos for you. It’s really impressive how fast the building has been growing since my last visit in June – but see for yourself! Spoiler: You will find the first photos from our two show apartments.
Construction Progress: 8 Floors, 2 Showrooms
As you can see in the picture below, we are almost there! The soon to be THE FIZZ Prague rises up to 8 floors, meaning the shell is almost completed. Moreover, we are nearly done with installing the windows as well and have also started working on thermal insulation. However, the “real progress” has been made inside the building. Our development team put a lot of effort in constructing two showrooms for you.
Showrooms: Pictures of Your Student Apartment
I might need to do some explaining first: Each of our new student residences feature at least one showroom even long before the opening. Why? We want you to be able to visit your future student home while it’s still being constructed. At THE FIZZ Prague, we even built two of them – a single studio and a double studio. The main goal of our visit this week was to finalize these apartments’ furnishing and some other details. Luckily, we were also able to seize this opportunity to decorate the two rooms and take some professional photos for you!

We cleaned, then decorated the apartments and invited a professional photographer to THE FIZZ Prague (quite a dusty affair at a busy construction site of that size!). You’ll have to wait for the final photos but I managed to take some with my phone for you. Here you go!
Besides the double room in the pictures above, we have also set up a single student apartment. It will be the most numerous room type at THE FIZZ Prague. However, you will have to wait for the photos of this apartment a bit longer :-P.
What happens next?
Besides showing you all of the final photos soon, you will also be able to meet us in person! From 21 to 23 January, we will be at the Gaudeamus Fair in Prague. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask any question, take VR tours through other THE FIZZ residences and to win a little something. Either way, we are really looking forward to meeting you!
