Prague Update: Our visit to Gaudeamus 2020
Ahoj, Praha! From 21 to 23 January, we have been visiting the Golden City again to take part at the Gaudeamus student fair.
THE FIZZ’ First Student Fair in Prague
Last year, we had the pleasure of visiting several education and career fairs for students – but only in Austria and Germany. 2020, we thought, it’s time to go big(ger)! With our first student residence opening in Prague in autumn 2020, we decided we’d become exhibitors at Gaudeamus 2020. If you regularly read the magazzine, this name will be familiar to you. In December, I already announced our plans here.
I won’t bore you with facts and figures about the exhibition. It took place from 21 to 23 February 2020 in Prague and anything else you might want to know can be found on the organizer’s website.
Nice to meet you!
First of all, it was so nice to personally meet – probably – some of the future tenants of our lovely THE FIZZ Prague! Luckily, our colleague Betka accompanied us to the student fair. She is a real language genius and her Czech as well as Russian skills were more than just useful. Together, we were able to answer any questions about our soon-to-be student residence and much more.
Information, VR and a raffle…
At booth No 3, you did not only find answers to your questions. Visitors could literally dive into THE FIZZ as we had brought our VR goggles along with 3D tours through all our houses. Of course, there is no THE FIZZ fair stand without a raffle. By switching roles in the question-answer game, people could win one of three vouchers.
Look at these windows!
Besides being at Gaudeamus, we also paid the construction site a visit. It’s amazing, how much has changed since just before Christmas – great job to the constructers! As you already know our two wonderful showrooms, this time, I want to show you something equally beautiful below.
This will be the future entrance of THE FIZZ Prague. Soon, standing in between these enormously huge windows will almost make you feel like never even entering a building. One of the next steps will be the building’s facade. It’s golden! (We didn’t promise too much on our website talking about “golden times in the Golden City”, huh?)
